The more things change.... the more they stay the same. I wonder if that reallly was the best Lox Bagel ever....or if in 6 years you just forgot how deLISHious thye can be. AND...how was the tipping in London?

We don't tip in London. Usually if you're in a sitdown restaurant you'll have a service change included which is 7.5-15%, but normally on the lower end. A lot of places you won't get any (sandwich shops, cafes, etc). Mostly it's sensible.

Pubs have started attempting to charge service on drink orders at the bar which I consider an insidious American import and regard it as my patriotic duty to smash the 0% button.
